Over 200 leaders in business and government gathered for an online event that focused on readying the workforce at a challenging time, as well as presenting how youth already trained with the transferrable skills needed by industry is part of the solution.
Through events like “Upskilled and Ready: An Agile Workforce for the Economic Reboot” and one-to-one exploratory meetings, the program has engaged the Private Sector in discussions and partnerships that make urgent and relevant the need to upskill and multiskill one’s workforce for the fluid world of work. Various industries, from MSMEs to large companies, both national and multinational, have expressed support to provide employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth.
