Opportunity 2.0 helps Filipino out-of-school youth along multiple pathways of development, whether towards higher education, training for jobs, or support to start their own business. Through Opportunity 2.0, the Filipino OSY has a second chance to better opportunities.
Pathways available for Filipino out-of-school youth through Opportunity 2.0:
- Pursue higher education – We work with the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System and Higher Education Institutions to make sure you have access to education that works for you! In ALS, there is enrollment every day. Contact ALS near you now! We also have a course that prepares youth for college and universities.
- Find training for jobs – Together with TESDA and tech-voc institutions, we make sure available training are up-to-date to what businesses need, making sure the knowledge and skills you gain have a place in the market. See what TESDA training programs are available nearest you.
- Start a business – Opportunity 2.0, through its work with TESDA, DepEd, DTI, private sector partners, and accredited training institutions in the 12 cities it works in, makes sure to add indispensable knowledge and skills for young people who choose to start their own business or grow an already existing one.
