Higher-Level Education or Training Readiness Orientation for Senior High School (HERO for SHS) was developed by USAID Opportunity 2.0 to support out-of-school youth who wish to pursue further education.
These guidebooks (one for facilitators and another for learners) are used when HERO is being rolled out in communities, usually for DepEd ALS completers. This way, OSY learn about admission processes, document requirements, possible funding opportunities through one guided session of interactive lessons and activities.
