This compendium was developed to showcase the achievements of USAID partner organizations.
A grants mechanism is incorporated into Opportunity 2.0’s programming to strengthen the local capacity of youth-serving organizations, training service providers, and higher education institutions so that they can better serve OSYs in their communities.
Through this mechanism, USAID has awarded 87 grants worth up to Php 115 million ($2.02 million) to 67 organizations and institutions across 15 cities in the Philippines since 2021. So far, 5,000 OSYs have upskilled through USAID grants, and millions more benefit from research and positive youth development training community leaders received as part of the grants.
