A series of Youth Development Alliance (YDA) Summit gathered at least 180 local leaders and organizations from 12 cities in a concerted effort to improve outcomes for out-of-school youth in the Philippines. Through the event, YDAs shared good practices, built networks, and proposed solutions, effectively forming a community of practice that improve programs for marginalized youth to pursue further education, get jobs, or start businesses.
USAID Opportunity 2.0 helps establish YDAs in Philippine cities to serve as a mechanism that brings together key decision-makers and stakeholders to improve opportunities for out-of-school youth (OSY) in the community.
