Part of the TESDA-USAID Opportunity 2.0 collaboration in response to the pandemic was the ‘Youth Access to TESDA Online Program (YATOP)’ initiative.
YATOP supports ‘Oplan TESDA Abot Lahat: TVET in the New Normal’ and was piloted in October 2020, aimed at restoring out-of-school youth access to employable skills programs and national certification through TOPs.
YATOP has since been implemented in 12 Opportunity 2.0 cities of Quezon, Legazpi, Angeles, Valenzuela, Cebu, Tagbilaran, Zamboanga,Isabela, General Santos, Cotabato, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro. It will also be piloted in three more sites: Pasig, Iloilo, and Iligan.
